Most auto parts accounts lean on Shopping and search. I scaled this one almost entirely on Performance Max, structured around product segments instead of one big catalog dump.
Scripts to see inside Performance Max
PMax hides detail, so I ran Google Ads scripts to surface it: zombie products getting no impressions or clicks, and overindex products beating expectations. Budget followed that data.
Segmented bestsellers from dead weight
Bestsellers got their own segments and budgets, zombie products got fixed or cut, and the account kept compounding month over month.
